Old Man on Campus

x_northstar Good afternoon.
I am Jean-Paul Beaubier. Technically I am a returning professor, but I have been gone long enough that I'm seeing the faces of former students on the staff roster. (In fact, I think I'm going to be acting as an aide to the boy who used to create interesting holes in the landscape during his flight lessons.) Given that so much has changed, treat me as if I am new to the place.
To head off a few questions at the pass:
1 - I left to deal with family matters which I would rather not discuss at present.
2 - I will not be taking on solo classes until the new semester; until then, I will be lending a hand where I am needed.
3 - You may call me Jean-Paul, Paul, or Mister Beaubier. Call me 'JP' and there will be suffering.
Feel free to introduce yourselves.
