Our main reason for heading up to Quebec City today was the fact that my biological parents are buried just a few miles from the outskirts. I had not seen much reason to visit the gravesite before, but I have had some revelations recently that made it seem necessary. And my navigator thinks that I need the closure.

I cannot say that I feel much different. Perhaps it still needs time to sink in. "Melisande" is a lovely name, though.

We were close enough to Le Relais to stop in and watch the freestylists practice for a bit. I acted the part of a responsible adult and did not do any hurtling or plummeting while strapped to skis. (No matter how much certain miscreants encouraged me to.) See what a good influence I am? I will, however, never forgive myself for forgetting the camera -- Johnny would not let me leave unless he got a chance at the climbing tower. I do not think his spotter expected him to hit the top of the wall and then continue up onto the actual tower. The look on the man's face was priceless. I think my navigator has set a new best time for the park.

Going to attempt dinner at L'Astral for the novelty of it, then back down to Montreal. Even if it kills us, there will be culture tomorrow.
