 "I'll let them sleep on Delphine's side of the bed."

Because, of course, that would be no fun. 

Fun would be playing the "how close can you sleep to Papa?" game followed by the "if we both sleep on one side, we can push Papa off the bed" game.  On the other hand, Bella and Delphine are so cute, I don't care.  They woke me up this morning by chasing each other around the bed and then playing peek at each other from either side of me. 

So I'm awake.  Nothing like a shower supervised by a bird and a cat to bring a sense of normalcy to the day.  Now we're going to go have coffee.

Leather pants are for Friday or Saturday nights, and possibly Thursdays if it's the right club. I'm thinking something casual, since we're not going anywhere fancy tonight. Short notice, middle of the week, work tomorrow, all that.

I think it is not yet winter enough for pinstripes. And it is too far past summer for white or khaki...

Fall is irritating like that. I've hidden my wool tartan pants from Clarice. Shh. She'll make me wear them. They're actually rather cute.

Right now it's a toss-up between the navy gabardine slacks and the brown corduroy (which I despise on principle but Ralph Lauren manages to make it look good and, besides, it's soft) pants. I'm thinking the gabardine because the corduroy deserves an equally snuggly cashmere pull-over with them and I don't think it'll be anywhere near cool enough. I just need a shirt that will help hide the fact that I'm still thinner than the average runway model,

TARTAN!!!! ooooooooh.... I've been considering asking Moira or Rahne about my tartan, technically I think I have one.

and brown should rarely be worn. most people who wear it, don't know how.

you can wear pinstripes in summer depending on weight of pants and color of pinstripe.
