Attention Literature students
Your textbooks arrived today. Feel free to pick them up any time between now and the start of the next term.
Also, the next person to appear uninvited in my room will be leaving through the window.* I may not bother to open it first.
*Unless you are a devastatingly attractive man, late twenties or older, with abdominals that score at least a four on the Mohs scale, in which case, I may be willing to negotiate.

What? Not even if they're carrying some form of food? The Students that Feed(tm) will be most disappointed in you. They make it a point of pride to stuff everyone there to the gills most nights, I'm told. They're like the ladies that lunch, only they give you food rather then eating it themselves.

Psh, bad teacher. You're going to break their little virgin hearts, you know.

What's a Mohs scale?
Also, I'm gonna assume there's an invisible "Unless you're fixing something that got broken, like maybe the window when I throw someone else out of it." because hey, they pay me for that.

The Mohs Scale of Hardness.
So long as I'm informed beforehand, it needn't be an issue.

I swear to god, I should have known that. I took a Geology class with Lorna. Argh.
Informing might be "Hey, you've got a broken window and I'm going to fix it." by text message then. Cause if it's broke, I'm not gonna wait... (Okay, windows are weird since I can technically do them from outside, but like, if someone says your, I dunno, garbage disp... no, wait, also bad example... uh.. Okay, I can't come up with a good one.)

Yay!
Any stories you need us to read before next term? Oh and can we write in them? Like just pencil lines and margin notes.

We're using annotated editions, so that should save you a bit of work (and take up some margin space), but take your notes how you see fit.
I won't be handing out homework until class officially starts, but there are no issues with students reading ahead.

I am sure you won't have problems finding those specifics within the mansion.

Judging by the people who show up in my room, those specifics are having a harder time finding me.

Yet you have only started to point out that there _are_ specifics in the first place.
I need to speak to you whenever you are available.

The specifics are "Do not show up in my room uninvited". Anything else is a mitigating factor.
I have some time free after lunch.

If GrumpyBlueWoman is thinking of leaving furry-type presents for GrumpyPointyEars, she should not do it. GrumpyPointyEars does notnotnot like furry presents very much at all.
Also, Catseye would like GrumpyPointyEars to know that Catseye has not been going uninvited in his room.
